The Mobile Media lab is pleased to provide Tustin Library the MakerBot Replicator for the month of August.  This MakerBot Replicator makes solid, three-dimensional objects out of melted MakerBot PLA Filament.

Week 1 - Demos and online lectures (computer lab & Info Desk)

Week 2 - Printing for kids 7-12.  The program will last about an hour.  Parents are welcome to remain in the room.  You do not have to attend every class, but they do build on each other so it is recommended.  Topics may change.  Items will be available for pick up the next week.  Limited space, registration required at the Information Desk

  • Monday 8/8, 2:00-3:00PM - cookie cutters
  • Tuesday 8/9, 2:00-3:00PM - thing maker
  • Wednesday 8/10, 2:00-3:00PM - personalized keychains / bracelet
  • Thursday 8/11, 2:00-3:00PM - tinkercad

Week 3 & 4 - Open 3D printing projects.  We will be accepting 3D printing projects for free printing.  Must have printing ticket to submit, see Information Desk for details and parameters.  Projects may take time to complete, it is recommended to submit early.

Meditating in Nature

Relax in nature this summer with park staff and volunteers.  Enjoy a short walking meditation, breathing and energization exercises, and sitting meditation.

  • Bring a blanket, pillow, and clothing in layers in case the evening is cool.
  • No experience necessary.
