Mile ... Mile & A Half Movie Screening
OC Parks - Laguna Niguel Regional Park
 Location: Laguna Niguel

OC Parks invites you to watch a documentary film screening of Mile…Mile & A Half. In an epic snow year, five friends leave their daily lives behind to hike California’s historic John Muir Trail from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney (the highest peak in the contiguous US). Their goal is to complete the 219-mile journey in 25 days, while capturing the amazing sights and sounds they encounter along the way.

Arrive at 5:30 pm for a free class from REI expert staff and learn the basics of planning your adventure on the John Muir Trail or other long-distance hikes. Reservations for the class are required and can be made by visiting www.rei/stores/17.

There will be a snack bar with popcorn and coffee brought to you by the Laguna Canyon Foundation.

Event and parking are FREE!

The film will be shown outdoors at the park amphitheater. Please note, this is not a children’s film.
