AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

August 2022 employee of the month powerpoint slide.

Each month we recognize an employee who goes above and beyond their normal duties and offers excellent service to our customers. The Employee of the Month receives a certificate of recognition, has their name placed on a recognition plaque and may dress casual during their month of recognition.

It gives me great pleasure to announce Ernesto Trejo as Employee of the Month for August.

Ernesto has demonstrated tremendous growth this past year and continuously goes above and beyond his duties as a document examiner. He is now the acting lead at the Document Examining Unit and has been successful in learning all the supervisor responsibilities and is doing a wonderful job.

Ernesto has trained new examiners on recordable document requirements, examining procedures and policies, and has received positive feedback from those he trains. He is always willing to assist his coworkers with examining questions while exhibiting great professionalism and patience. He has also taken the lead on managing the testing for the new upgrades to our Cornerstone and LandDocs applications. This includes managing testing schedules, maintaining a record of all updates, documenting all glitches, and clearly presenting them to the Granicus team and senior management.

Ernesto’s customer service skills are exemplary. His punctuality is accompanied with a smile when arriving at work. He is dependable and can be relied on when coverage is needed at the public counter. His customer service goes above and beyond when assisting the public.

Ernesto continues to be a role model to his fellow co-workers. He is a stellar employee, and we appreciate the enthusiasm he adds to the examining team. He is an asset to our department!

Please join me in congratulating Ernesto on his achievement!
